Autism Spectrum Disorder
Evidence-based individualized education programs that unlock the potential of children with autism.
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects an individual's social communication, interaction, and behavioral patterns. Early diagnosis and appropriate educational interventions can significantly increase the quality of life and independent living skills of children with autism. As Önce Special Education, we offer comprehensive and individualized education programs tailored to the unique needs of each child on the autism spectrum at our center in Pendik, Istanbul.
Our autism education program is run by a multidisciplinary team of child psychologists, special education specialists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists. A detailed evaluation is conducted for each child to prepare an individualized education plan (IEP). This plan covers developing communication skills, increasing social interaction capacity, supporting academic skills, and teaching behavior regulation strategies. We also provide regular feedback and home program support to our families coming from Pendik and surrounding districts.
Located in Pendik on the Anatolian side of Istanbul, our center is based on current scientific approaches in the field of autism. Evidence-based intervention techniques such as ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), TEACCH, PECS, and natural teaching methods are applied by adapting them to each child's developmental level and learning style. Our goal is to increase the social participation of individuals with autism and offer reliable guidance to their families in this process.
