Camp Education (Intensive Education Program) is an intensive education program designed to reinforce special needs children's gains in the education process, teach new skills, and accelerate development speed during school holiday periods. Suspending education during holiday periods can cause skill loss (regression) in special needs children. As Önce Special Education, we organize camp education programs to prevent these losses and accelerate development at our center in Pendik, Istanbul.
Our camp education implemented at our Pendik center is structured as an intensive program lasting 4-6 hours a day. Individual special education sessions, speech and language therapy, social skills groups, movement education, art and music activities, sensory experience workshops, and daily life skill studies form the content of the camp program. Individual evaluation is conducted for each child before the camp, identifying the targets to focus on during the camp. This intensive program allows the child to make significant developmental breakthroughs in a short time.
Our camp education program organized in Pendik, Istanbul, is generally offered in 2-4 week modules during summer holiday, mid-term holiday, and semester holiday periods. The camp environment increases learning motivation by offering children different activities and socialization opportunities. Thanks to peer interaction, group studies, and fun activities, children both work towards developmental goals and experience an enjoyable holiday. Families are informed regularly during the camp process, and a comprehensive development report is presented at the end of the camp.

Our camp education programs are generally organized during summer holiday (June-August), mid-term holiday, and semester holiday periods. Registration can be made in the desired period for the program offered in 2-4 week modules. You can call our Pendik center for current camp dates.
How many hours a day does camp education last?
Our camp program is planned between 4-6 hours a day according to the child's age and endurance. The program includes individual sessions, group studies, eating, and intermediate rest times.
Is camp education suitable for every child?
Camp education can be adapted according to the needs of every child with special needs. The child's suitability for the intensive program is determined with the evaluation made before the camp, designing the individual program accordingly. Alternative programs are suggested for very young children or those whose health status is not suitable.
Are meals and transportation provided in camp education?
Snacks and lunch are provided by our center in our camp program. Families provide their own transportation. You can get detailed information about the location of our center, which has easy access from Pendik and surrounding districts.
